Vila dos Principes is a gated condominium, within Praia d'El Rey golf course which is rated amongst the top golf courses in Europe by Golf World Magazine. The 7,100 yard par 73 course was designed by Cabell B Robinson in 1997 with a mixture of seaside links and parkland holes. The course is set in extensive grounds of pine forest and undulating dunes, with spectacular views over the Atlantic. Players are required to have a valid golf handicap certificate and a minimum handicap of 36.
